A great 4-0 night for us on betting tips last night. While our Twins lineup stack led my teams to a money finish, the Indians failing to take advantage of Sabathia kept it out of the big money. A win is a win though and I’ll keep on grinding.

That Mike Trout line really hurt.

The Indians win last night combined with the Jays win means that we have a new first place team in the AL East. The Jays are just on fire right now and the Yankees need to do something to right the ship. Meanwhile, in the NL East the Nationals will go in to tonight’s game with a four game deficit behind the Mets. The Jays and the Mets are two teams that are clicking at exactly the right time and it will be interesting to see what the teams behind them can do to catch up.

MLB Betting Tips and Daily Fantasy Advice:

The Yankees and Indians face off tonight in a game that should be much different than last night’s 2-1 affair. Trevor Bauer pitches for Cleveland and his stats show him as a homer happy, walk heavy pitcher. He’s really struggled this year and he should have a hard time against a Yankees team that likes to hit homeruns and draw walks. I don’t see it ending well for him. He goes against Nathan Eovaldi who, despite an 11-2 record, has a 4.15 ERA on the season and should give up a few runs in this game as well.

Now four games back of the Mets, the Nationals face the Giants and hope to right the ship. They’ll send Stephen Strasburg to the mound who returned from the DL last week with an outstanding start against the Rockies. He threw 7 innings, struck out 12 batters and only allowed one run against one of the top offenses in all of baseball. He faces the Giants tonight and he should have similar results in the pitcher friendly AT&T Park. He’ll go against Ryan Vogelsong who is not an elite level pitcher by any stretch of the imagination who should allow enough runs for Strasburg to grab the win.

The Angels face the Royals and on paper, it seems like the Angels would be an easy pick. The only thing is they are coming off of a three game series against the White Sox in which they only managed four runs in three games and Mike Trout is mired in a terrible slump. The Angels offense goes as Trout goes and I have a hard time liking them tonight against the high flying Royals. Kansas City is one of the best teams in all of baseball and despite starting Jeremy Guthrie tonight I think they will grab the win. The bullpen can bail him out early and I don’t think Trout will make him pay for any mistakes he makes as I think he’s shielding some sort of injury.
